Welcome to the Xiaogen Lab!

Xiaogen Lab is dedicated to addressing fundamental problems in computational and structural biology, with a focus on atomic modeling from cryo-EM density maps, protein structure and function prediction, and gene editing analysis. We develop innovative computational tools by integrating artificial intelligence, machine learning, and bioinformatics to extract insights from large-scale biological data. We welcome undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students with backgrounds in computer science, automation, mathematics, or bioinformatics. Each year, we admit around nine master’s students and 1–2 Ph.D. students.
