The size of the cryo-EM density map should be less than 300M, and the resolution should be provided. Currently, our file type mode supports 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit. The older MRC format (pre-2000) and unconventional one cannot be identified by our program. In addition, the segmented map is helpful to improve accuracy and reduce the processing time. You can try to segment the map using UCSF Chimera.
NOTE1: DEMO-EMol will crop the input density map based on the user-specified contour level to remove low-density regions and reduce map size, which helps accelerate the modeling process.
NOTE2: If you have a big cryo-EM density map, and you only want to generate the model of some regions, you should segment it manually or using UCSF Chimera.
NOTE3: If the uploaded density map file is larger than 50 MB, the processing and modeling may take longer. Please be patient during the computation.
